Julie Wilsey, Vice President of Development

Julie is currently managing the retail development and leasing team for all mixed-use properties in Texas. Prior to joining Gables, she worked for The Mills Corporation with development responsibility for Opry Mills in Nashville and Vaughan Mills in Toronto, as well as Block 39 in Chicago and the Piers in San Francisco. Julie has worked in Wal-Mart’s real estate group, as well as managing assets for a labor union trust at National Bank of Washington.
 

Darin Botelho, Vice President of Retail Operations

Darin is responsible for the Gables Urban portfolio including property management, leasing, customer retention, rent collection, tenant construction coordination, as well as marketing and the implementation of promotional events. Prior to joining Gables, Darin was responsible for the overall operation and financial success of Kansas City’s famed 1.2 million square-foot mixed-use Country Club Plaza, six neighborhood shopping centers and more than 150,000 square feet of class A office space. Darin’s management skills were honed at Aventura Mall in North Miami Beach, Florida and South Park Shopping Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Katy Slade, Development Associate

Katy joins us from Western Development Corporation, where she was instrumental in the redevelopment of Georgetown Park in Washington D.C. She also attended Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania where she received degrees in urban planning and real-estate development.

Missy Wyszynski, Director of Marketing

Missy leads the marketing and public relations efforts for all Gables Urban’s properties. Prior to joining Gables, Missy spent eight years as Director of Marketing at Hillwood’s Victory Park project in Dallas. In addition to retail marketing, she also led the marketing program for W Dallas Residences, Mandarin Oriental, The House by Starck and Yoo, among others.
